    This is mostly a set of surface-level arguments about superficial aspects of personal knowledge management. Yes, influencers pitching specific methodologies are often full of shit. Yes, network graphs are often boring and gratuitous. Yes, being overly focused on the tools used to complete tasks often gets in the way of completing tasks.

You implicitly understand it as rather complicated system/rules/methods etc. However your points ad 1-3 (checklists, grasping content, projects) are exact examples of proper Personal Knowledge Management. PKM is not Zettelkasten or BYOB or any other hip methodologies.
